Additional Membranes

For systems employing our high flow high-pressure pump, (that is our Engine Drive systems and most of our AC systems,) additional membranes are an option.  These systems start at approximately 80 litres per hour of fresh water production, but can be increased to 160 litres and 240 litres per hour with one or two additional membranes.

Autoflush

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, our Autoflush system keeps your system and membranes healthy while you are away from the boat.  Perfect for people who plan to leave the boat for 2 weeks to a few months.  Especially for people who hope to get back to the boat every weekend, but often get trapped by shore life.

Your membranes need to be preserved when not in use.  There is a simple pickling procedure for long term storage, but for short term system idleness, the membranes need to be flushed with fresh water every 7 to 10 days to prevent degradation.  Our Autoflush system uses a simple timer to open a fresh water feed valve for 2 minutes every 7 days.  Your domestic fresh water pump pumps water from your fresh water tanks for 2 minutes, and then shuts off.

Offshore Spares Kit

Our offshore spares kit includes the following:
6 @ 5 micron pre-filter elements
2 @ Charcoal filter elements
4 @ o-ring large membrane end-cap
2 @ o-ring small membrane end-cap
1 @ pre-filter wrench
1 @ high pressure tubing joiner fitting
1 @ o-ring pre-filter housing

Quencher Panel Stand-offs

Our Quencher control panels were designed for discreet flush mounting with electrical and wiring access from behind.  This makes for a very tidy installation in the cabin.  For some installations, the best panel location does not lend itself to access from behind.  For those installations we have stainless steel stand-off units for both the control panel and the Sample/Tank Valve.  These stand-offs allow for easy surface mounting with hoses coming and going from below.

Tank Selector Valve

For boats with more than one fresh water tank, this tank selector valve will direct your product water to your chosen tank.

Coarse Pre-filter

For customers who expect to spend a significant amount of time in nutrient rich waters, we offer an optional 20 micron pre-filter.  For systems operating in murky waters, the addition of a 20 micron washable pre-filter improves the service life of your 5 micron pre-filter, keeping the system running efficiently.

We add a second pre-filter body onto the 5 micron pre-filter that comes with your system automatically.

Engine Mount Base Plate

The challenge with installing an engine drive system is mounting the high pressure pump as a power take-off on the engine or generator.  Every boat engine will have its own possibilities for mounting a power take-off.  Our sliding base plate may help your high pressure pump installation become a little bit easier.  CNC cut from 8mm aluminium, mild steel, or stainless steel, our base plate offers >50mm of sliding belt adjustment.

Engine Mount Pivot Bracket

When the pump is fitted above or below the engine, a bracket that pivots, like an alternator bracket, is a good option.  CNC cut from 8mm mild steel or stainless steel, then tig welded.  The pivot pin and tensioning bolt are stainless steel.
